Toolkit for Life

This course is designed for people who have experienced domestic abuse, and who have completed the Freedom Programme.  The Toolkit is currently running online via Zoom, and we will resume in-person groups when this is possible. To find out when the next course is contact:

What is domestic abuse?

Domestic abuse is perpetrated by a partner or ex-partner and can include:

  • Physical abuse
  • Mental abuse
  • Sexual abuse

It is widespread in our Scotland affecting at least 1:4 women at some time in their life. Find out more

Women whose in-person groups were interrupted by the Coronavirus lockdown will be able to join an online group on Zoom. A new term will be starting shortly for new referrals. Contact us for details.

Young People’s group: Last school year, we went into high schools to talk to pupils about healthy relationships. We were really encouraged by the positive reactions from both pupils and staff. We are very keen to get back into more schools this term and beyond. So, if you want your school to get involved, please get in contact!

Freedom Hub Cafes: monthly informal meet ups for women at venues across Fife.

We are now also running bespoke groups for Women with disabilities, and lesbian & bisexual women.

What is it? It is a course that will make sense of the abuse you have experienced/are experiencing. It will reduce the shame and blame you are maybe feeling. It will help you to start to heal. It will help you move forward with your life. It will let you know you are not the only one. Find out more
