Our Freedom Hub Cafes were developed in response to a need expressed by the women who’d participated in the Freedom Programme. The Cafes were initially used as a forum for women who wanted to stay connected after completing the groups. However, they grew to serve as a taster for the Freedom groups, where women can come along and find out more about it from others who have completed the Programme. The Freedom Hub Café also simply provides a safe, friendly environment for women to enjoy a chat and a coffee.
Ideally, we are working towards a befriending system for women who find it difficult to walk through the door on the first day of a Freedom group.

Above is a small table representing how many women attended the Hub Cafés over the course of the year – with many going on to do the Freedom Programme. It is our aim to grow this number as much as possible to help ease the nerves any woman may be feeling over attending one of our groups.
